Neuro Defence is a fun martial art-based program that utilizes karate and self-development to improve fitness, self-confidence, self-respect, and self-discipline plus much more. Our clients are autistic and often have ADHD or other neurodiverse challenges. This is a Neurodiverse program.
The first step in the program is to make sure the program is a great fit, for your child and family. We will conduct a FREE 30-minute, two-way evaluation, in our clinic, with the parents watching. We want the parents to observe the teaching dynamic and philosophy we utilize in the Neuro Defence program.
You will be able to determine:
-Is the instructor a good teacher?
-Do they interact well with my child?
-Does my child seem ready for the program?
-Do you agree with the teaching philosophy and approach?
-Will my child enjoy the program?
We will be able to determine:
-Is the child ready for the program?
-Will the child work well with the other children?
-Identify any areas of concern!
-Answer any questions.
The Introductory Program is designed to:
-Make the child feel comfortable.
-Make the child feel confident.
-Let the parents asses the facility and instructor.
