Acceptance and Understanding Presentations FOR SCHOOLS
ASNL is excited to re-open our classroom sessions for students—with a new model designed to make a lasting impact!
Step 1: school staff participate in ASNL’s Autism Acceptance and Understanding sessions either during professional learning days or staff meetings. Step 2: Once staff complete Step 1, ASNL offers Peer Acceptance and Understanding. These sessions are engaging, age-appropriate and directly in classrooms.
This new model ensures students’ learning is reinforced by the knowledge, language, and practices modeled by teachers and staff.
Together, we can build more inclusive and affirming school communities.
The tailored presentations for teachers and staff include:
What is autism and neurodiversity?
Autistic culture and communication
