Eligibility:
1. Must be a resident of Newfoundland & Labrador;
2. Must have a diagnosis of Autism or a related diagnosis;
Guidelines:
1. Only applications made through this form will be considered. Any prior application to the fund will not be reviewed.
2. The bursary amount is determined by individual circumstance to the maximum of $1000.00.
3. All bursaries will be used towards programming, therapy or devices related to an autism diagnosis;
4.Eligibility will depend on overall financial means, the individual needs of the family, family composition, as well as the amount of funding available;
5. Applications for bursaries will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
6. Funding must be used before March 31st, 2025
7. Priority will be given to those who have not been beneficiaries of the fund in the past.
8. Bursaries will be awarded until the fund is depleted at which time the application process will end.
9. Funding will be paid directly to any service provider/supplier you choose. You may also choose to pay for these services yourself and be directly reimbursed with proof of payment. Equipment can be purchased by ASNL and shipped to your address or you may be reimbursed with proof of purchase.
10. Applicants will be notified if they have been successful in receiving a grant starting July 8th, 2024. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.
