ST. JOHN’S – ADULT WALKING GROUP

Adult Walking Group – Movement, Connection, and Community The Adult Walking Group is a relaxed, inclusive weekly gathering for autistic adults who want to connect with others while enjoying the outdoors. What to Expect: Gentle-paced, one-hour walk or roll
Along various beautiful walking trails in St. John’s
Inclusive of all mobility styles — walking, rolling, or using mobility aids
Slow, adaptable pace with no pressure to keep up
Participation is always flexible and judgment-free Outdoor movement as a form of connection
Encouraging gentle activity as a way to regulate, reflect, and recharge
No expectations for conversation — come as you are One-hour social time after the walk
Enjoy lemonade or tea together in a relaxed setting
Connect, chat, or just hang out with others in a neurodivergent-friendly space
Optional, low-pressure way to build community
Program Details: Thursdays from July 3rd to August 28th, 2025
Each session runs for two hours
1 hour of walking/rolling
1 hour of relaxed social time Various walking trails around St. John’s (exact routes TBA; accessibility will be prioritized)
