Autism Society Newfoundland & Labrador (ASNL) invites you to participate in Active for Autism
Active for Autism is our longest-running and one of our most popular events! It encourages families and friends to get together, get active, and raise awareness and funds for ASNL!
Active for Autism occurs in multiple locations across the province. You can register as an individual or a team – consider a family or corporate team! You can walk, run, wheel, cycle, canoe, golf, the possibilities are endless – get active your way!
This is an Active for Autism fundraising event, and we’re so grateful to everyone who registered and donated. People are still welcome to register and support the fundraiser if they wish. You can register and raise money online HERE. We will also be accepting donations at the Get Air event. You can find a copy of our pledge sheet HERE. At the same time, we’re happy to welcome community members who want to join the jump even if they haven’t registered. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
Active for Autism is our longest-running and most popular fundraising initiative with events taking place throughout the province during the last week of October. It encourages families and friends to get together, get active, and raise awareness and funds for ASNL!
Due to several weeks of inclement weather, the St. John’s event was proactively changed to ensure everyone would be able to enjoy Active for Autism safely, comfortably, and with just as much enthusiasm!
We are pleased to team up with Get Air Trampoline Park for a sensory-friendly, weather-proof event that keeps all the fun, energy, and community spirit of our original event — just indoors!
St. John’s DATE: Saturday, December 6th
Location: Get Air Trampoline Park
Address: 63 THORBURN RD, St. John’s
Time: 9:00AM-11:00AM
There is no cost to jumpers as it is included in your Active for Autism registration (you can register HERE), however, Jump socks are required, and will be available for purchase on site. Liability waivers can be completed in advance: GetAir Waiver
Prefer to Walk? We understand that some participants would prefer a fresh-air walk; therefore, we encourage you to take your walk when and where it works best for you; snap a photo and share it with us to keep the Active for Autism energy going across our community!
