On April 30 Powell’s in Bay Roberts presented ASNL with a donation of $13,750. During the Christmas season, Powell’s sister company Atlantic Grocery Distributors, was the exclusive distributor of the discontinued mint and orange flavours of Moritz Icy Squares thanks to their vendor Regal. With Regal’s support, Powell’s committed to donating a portion from the sale of each tub of Moritz Icy Squares sold at all Powell’s Supermarket and Value Grocer locations in NL. This donation supports ASNL services and programs throughout the province including Powell’s home of Conception Bay North. The South Coast Friends with Autism group was recently successful in receiving funding from NL Hydro, Harbour Breton during their Acts of Kindness week. A donation was made to the Autism Society in support of its various programs during a get-together by the group which took place at the Harbour Breton Community Youth Network. Trades NL- We cannot say a big enough thank you to this group of over 16 craft unions and over 20,0000 workers for supporting our new social enterprise, Good Roots Gardening. More than half the donation will help fund a 365 Greenhouse designed by Iron and Earth. The enterprise will provide year-round training opportunities and meaningful employment to adults on the spectrum.

Holy Spirit High School has a competitive video game team - HSH Smash Team. Part of their mandate is to promote a positive influence in their community. For the past 2 years, The Smash Team has fundraised and provided ASNL with technology. This year they have raised enough to gift ASNL with 5 top of the line iPads and an iTunes card. These iPads will aid in the learning, socialization and communication of individuals with ASD. Thanks again to the HSH Smash Team for their positive influence on our community!

We were lucky enough to meet the women of the Friendship Group at St. James United Church! This awesome group of ladies made a $200 donation to our organization and we are very grateful for their support.
Hibernia Offshore workers participate in a Safety Observation Program called "Nobody Gets Hurt" where HMDC donates $0.50 per safety card submitted. Last quarter, they raised $6,789! Doug Healey, his wife Samantha and their son Alex presented this generous donation. Thank you!

Dianne Clements with the NL Society of Florida learned about our gardens from a television segment last fall. She recommended Good Roots Gardening as a charity of choice to her team, and while in Florida this past winter they raised $500 US through various events. Thank you Dianne for meeting the team and giving us this generous donation!
Big thanks to Charlene Butler, Claudette Hillier and The Salvation Army CBS Corps Vacation Bible School, Shipwrecked - Rescued by Jesus, for choosing Good Roots Gardening as their charity of choice this year. Over five days, children in the program raised $783.50! This money will be used for seeds, greenhouse soil and compost, while helping those on the autism spectrum learn valuable work skills. ASNL was honoured to be picked as NLCU's Charity of Choice for their 15th Annual Walk-A-Thon. Walks were held on June 3rd in 8 locations across the province and raised an incredible $10,000 for our Classroom Awareness Program. In July 2018, The Harley Owners Group organized a motorcycle ride to support our outreach efforts. We had the privilege of accepting a cheque for $7500 from funds they raised from that event. We greatly appreciate and thank this generous group of riders! Their longtime support has been truly amazing.

We'd like to sincerely thank the QE Pioneers for hosting a charity hockey game in support of ASNL! On May 14, 2019, current students played against alumni players and raised $1801! We even had an anonymous donation made by a former QE student and player to match what was raised - resulting in the event total to $3602! Thank you, Pioneers!
