DESCRIPTION:Andreae Callanan holds a PhD in English from Memorial University\, and is a Vanier Canada and Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation scholar; her research focuses on the relationship between autism and poetry. Her 2021 poetry collection\, The Debt\, was a finalist for the Fred Cogswell Award for Excellence in Poetry and the E. J. Pratt Poetry Award. Andreae is co-convener of the Research and Knowledge Exchange Group on Autism at the NL Centre for Applied Health Research\, and poetry editor for Janus Unbound: Journal of Critical Studies. Currently\, Andreae is working on two book projects: a collection of essays exploring neurodivergent modes of paying attention\, and a volume of lectures on creative writing.
